My Mission is simple - assist schools and communities in developing a culture of Dignity, Respect and Understanding. It is this
culture which will eliminate bully behavior from our communities and create
highly effective organizational structures. Each visitation
format is uniquely designed around the following concepts:
Bully Awareness
Foundation of the Organization
Understanding Differences in Personalities
Equilibrium
Leadership
I highly recommend visitations
that incorporate speaking with students, staff, and families/ community. Staff
training opportunities on professional development days are always welcome.
Author Quote:
I was recently asked, "Why are you so cheap?"
My reply, "I do not do this for profit. I try to adjust my fees to meet my expenses only. This is my commitment to these problems."
REVIEW: It is with pleasure that I highly recommend and endorse the work that J
Richard Knapp does to help students, staff, and community deal with a problem
that is in every school climate, bully behavior. At the school where I am a
principal we had the opportunity to have him work with our students, staff, and
parents. As I witnessed each presentation I was amazed at how easily he relayed
his story and message to three very different groups. Students were mesmerized
by the book, Bobby’s Story. The story was easy for many of them to
connect with since many of them are growing up in poverty. His work with staff
taught them to recognize the signs of a bully and how to change the climate
within their classrooms and school. Since his work with the staff a strong
commitment to make sure that we connect with all of our students and look for
signs that we did not initially recognize has been a driving force for us.
Parents alike see the importance of knowing the signs and addressing the issues
early on. I have learned why he has such a drive to make everyone aware of the
importance of recognizing bully behavior and addressing the need to make the
school climate positive for EVERYONE! - Cathy, Elementary Principal
REVIEW: On behalf of our
schools, we thank you for the time and diligence you put forth to tell your
story - which actually, at some point, is everyone's story. Each presentation
received positive reports. We now are aware of the myths and truths of bullying.
We know how deeply we are affected. And now, our students have learned how to
come alongside those who suffer. Thank you for carrying your message to
children who are in need of an advocate. May we not disappoint them! - Jackie, Reading Specialist, Teacher
