Welcome to Franklin Pratt Imaging on the Knapp Story website. Jim has graciously accepted my works in digital and print media for display and your pleasure. You need to know that I am also collaborating with Jim to provide his art work for his book covers as well. We're currently working on "Arch of the Fairies" and will soon be working on "Broken Bat," so, we've got our work cut out for us. I really am excited and grateful to be associated with him in yet another enterprise to work toward developing material and stories in the cause of fairness, equality among people, and better understanding of one another. We as a species on this planet have long been a paradox of behavior. Learning by being attentive of our actions, engaging one another with Dignity, Respect, and Understanding, will lead us to cooperate in the resolution of the many challenges we all face every day we are given in our life.
I hope you enjoy this display of images I have captured. I have been a shooter for over 20 years but have come to a sense of purpose in the last five years. I shoot nature predominantly and have begun to widen my interest as the mood so inclines.
I see nature as the most fundamental and profound element of living. It seems to me that we have become distant from and impassive to its power and importance to our health (mentally, physically, and emotionally). It is amazing how a visit to some place of peace helps put things in perspective. I hope something like that happens when you browse these photos.
